Most trade programs ask you to show up in person during the day. For working adults, parents, and anyone with bills to pay, that can mean choosing between school and a paycheck.
We built a different option. Our programs are fully online and self-paced, so you can train at home after work, earn industry credentials in a short amount of time, and move into a better career on your own time.
Born and raised in Utah
Utah Trades Academy was founded by Mitchell Goodwin, a Utah native and Utah State University graduate. Mitchell started the school to give people a practical way into the trades: a digital program they can complete at home, after work, without stepping away from the income their families depend on.
Today the school is based in Orem and serves students across Utah.
